Weaponised Loneliness was created as a part of my Master Project for Ma Visual Communication at Bath Spa.
The music video explores the boundaries between reality and fiction. Three storylines are presented in the film: the narrator vision, the reality and the fiction. They intertwined with each other to create a complex yet aesthetically pleasing visual experience.
I designed the film to be interpreted by the audiences. Depending on their life experience and knowledge, I respect any kind of interpretations my audiences might come up with.
It was a journey of mine, now it's yours.

Weaponised Loneliness
by Poison Roulette
Written by Kelly Wang | Produced by William Perrett
#Verse 1#
Waking up to be a stranger in a strange land
Destiny spins, tell all my tales
Take a deep breath with shaking hands
Hearing them whisper by my ears
“Don’t close your eyes babe, open ‘em wide”
“Cause you are in wonderland”
#Chorus#
Saw a horologe through a kaleidoscope
Even a broken clock’s right twice a day
Destined future defined my past
Weaponised loneliness shot my down
And I, I’ll be an illusion in your Deja Vu
And I, I’ll be a silhouette in this masquerade
#Verse 2#
Chasing shadows in an empty crowd
Finding souls among these ghostly shells
Screaming my lungs out to believe
Gathering sands that I could not hold
Every recovery followed by a relapse
I chased it all, done it all, lost it all
#Bridge#
To dream alone and drink alone
Make my own rules in my own zone
Straight out of our glorious days
Leading to my misfortunes
The wrongs in my stars foreseen it all
Another fortune taller with misty eyes
#Outro#
Don’t mark my grave, let history fade
Who was I then, who am I next?
